Two new versions of Apple Watch 2 is just around the corner – Tek.no

Apple has plans to launch two new versions of Apple Watch during the second half of this year. It claims the famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, according Appleinsider.com.

The information arrived in a note Kuo sent to investors on Sunday, and as AppleInsider has obtained. The note adds Kuo forward details about Apple’s plans for smart watches the next six months.

two new watches

Kuo claims that Apple will launch two new versions of Apple Watch in the coming months. The first version will be a relatively small upgrade of the first version of Apple Watch. In addition to better water tightness will also be equipped with a new processor from TSMC, based on a 16 nanometer production process.

The most interesting model, which Kuo calls “Apple Watch 2″, expected a have the same general design as the current Apple Watch. But the clock will be equipped with GPS and barometer. What the GPS will be used for, say no AppleInsider so much about – but it will of course be able to map services on the clock less dependent on the mobile phone, while the clock is also able to work better with such training related apps that require GPS tracking.

Expecting built 4G support next year

In addition to GPS, Apple Watch 2 also get a battery with greater capacity, we believe Kuo.

Analysts do not think Apple will change how the company’s wearable looks in 2017, but considers it quite certain that next year’s watches will have 4G support – again something that can make them less dependent on the cell phone than they are today.

Earlier this summer launched the way Apple has a new version of its operating system for smart watches, watchOS 3.0. In addition to the operating system should have been faster, it has also become easier to switch dials, and activity monitor should have been better.
