Do not criticism – Dagens Næringsliv

One of the suppliers believe that the Oslo hospitals can not be blamed for that many construction projects are more expensive than planned, and thus should have been tendered .

The auditing firm PwC has established that Oslo University knowingly break rules for procurement and tenders, which DN discussed last week. The audit report shows that 168 of the 300 surveyed purchasing is illegal direct purchase.

This is saken- I do not know the PwC report content before you present it to me, but if it is correct, surprises me, says Jens Herman Svartdahl, general manager and part owner in Oslo Building Contractor.

The company is the largest provider of construction services to Oslo University Hospital (OUS). The last three years the company has delivered construction services for nearly 100 million to hospitals as part of a framework agreement.

– I find that our contacts at the hospital is working conscientiously and properly, and I have not gotten the impression that it made deliberate mistakes with tender regulations. My impression is that the agreement is managed well, says Svartdahl.
