Your page Recently relieved Apple on the veil for iOS 9. The upcoming operating system update to the iPhone and iPad comes as usual with numerous innovations.
This time, Apple has put a lot of emphasis on optimization and stability, allowing it to work as well as possible without too many mistakes and problems. But it is of course also the usual bandwagon with new features.
Here are ten things to look forward to in iOS 9, plus a little more.

# 1) Requires less space
As I said, part of the news in iOS 9 of the invisible variety. Apple has made some adjustments “under the hood”, which improved performance in applications. To the delight of many will update require less free space for installation than before, only 1,3GB, compared 4,6GB in iOS 8.
Hopefully not as many problems with updating, as was the case last year.
Another new feature called “app thinning” can also help in storage problems, especially for those who only have 8 or 16GB storage. It ensures that an app does not take up more space than it needs.
Until now an app contained components to work on all iOS devices, which means that you have saved lots of data you do not need.
Now, however, so an app retrieves only what it needs to run, which could potentially reduce the size considerably.
# 2) Better Battery Life
LOW POWER: Once you have activated the power saving mode, the battery indicator yellow, as the screen here.
A perhaps even better “under the hood” -nyhet however longer battery life.
With the new operating system installed, an iPhone actually keep an extra hour than today. One reason must be that the iPhone screen is no longer lit up when lying face down on a table.
In addition introduces some more Android phones have had for a while, namely a power saving mode.
Turns on “Low Power” when you have, well, little power disables retrieval of email, background update apps, motion effects and animated backgrounds, so you can extend the battery life for a further three hours, claiming Apple .
# 3) End of caps lock curl
SE, SMALL CAPS: No more confusion about pressing the shift key or not .
Apple has finally fixed up the “caps lock” -marerittet; confusion around whether you have pressed the shift key or not.
Now showing namely keyboard either lowercase when the shift key is not enabled, or lowercase when it is activated, so that there is no longer any doubt. Also this has been common on Android keyboards for a while.
So when you do not have to press the Shift key five or six times before you find out.
# 4) Better iPad keyboard
iPad keyboard also get some new features that should make it possible to write more effectively, including a new toolbar with shortcuts to cut, copy and paste, text formatting, attachments, and so on.
Placing two fingers on the keyboard, you transform it into a trackpad where you can easily select text, move the cursor and the kind.
WILL MOVE quicker now? The keyboard on iOS gets its own toolbar.
iOS 9 also supports popular hotkeys, so you can connect an external keyboard and use commands such as Command -tab to switch between apps, Command-C to copy the text and so on.

# 5) Multitasking on iPad
The biggest news for iPad users in iOS 9 is support for real multitasking, where applications can run side by side. Critics have argued the lack of this has prevented the iPad to act as a proper working tool (while it is rumored now that the larger iPad Pro is on the way).
Apple’s approach is very similar to multitasking in Windows 8.
You drag your finger from the right side of the screen to bring up a new App Launcher, where you can open an additional app beyond the one already up. The second app forms a narrower bar on the right side, which you can use as usual.
70/30: You can choose whether to open a yet another app in a narrow viewing.
Nice if you for example are reading an article in the browser, but should have replied to a text message or scribbling something down in a note. When you’re done, just drag the app out of the screen.
Looking to work with two apps side by side, drag instead app opposite way, ie to the left so that they are mutually supportive. Note that this will only work if you have iPad Air 2.
50/50: Or, you may have apps side by side. It should also be possible to drag and drop content from one app to another.
Finally, there should also be possible to have a small video player on top of a any other app.
(User accounts that we have been looking for some years now, glitters still absent …)
# 6) Map get public information
Apple’s mapping service got the worst possible start when it was launched a few years back, primarily because karttdataene proved to be anything but reliable. It also lacked a number of other features compared with its main competitor Google Maps.
Apple Maps has improved over time, but which still has lacked has been public information directions. Should you find out how to get from one place to another by bus or train, you’ve been redirected to another app.
In iOS 9 it finally ended it, and collective information will come built into Apple Maps. To begin with, however, it is limited to a few cities in the US and China.

# 7) Smarter Siri
FORGET YOU LIGHT? In iOS 9 you can get Siri to help you remember things in different contexts.
In addition to Siri comes in Norwegian edition of iOS 9, will speak Assistant also more functionality.
Among other things, you can ask her to pick up pictures or photos and videos by date, place and album title.
You can also ask her to set reminders when looking at specific messages, websites, map locations, and so on, simply by saying, “Remind me when I get home.”
# 8) Proactive assistant
Siri will also be proactive in iOS 9, which means that she can predict what you need before you even ask, just like Google Now or Microsoft Cortana can.
WHO SOGO COMPETITION: Apple is not the first to remind the users when they should go for to catch the next deal.
Apple calls the function of “Proactive Assistant” and allows iOS device can learn your usage patterns and make recommendations based on where you are, what time of day it is and what you do and so on.
For example, have a meeting at 10, you prior to the meeting get a reminder when you go and the best way to get there based on current traffic conditions. You tend to take a jog in the morning with music, the music robe automatically launch when you plug in headphones in the morning.
If you receive an incoming call from an unknown number, there will be a search in email messages to try to identify it. The proactive features are dotted around the operating system.
# 9) Smarter search
In this connection also the built-in search feature Spotlight become smarter.
NEW SEARCH SCREEN: But so far it is not especially rich.
Among other things, you could bring up information about the weather, sports scores or stock quotes and do calculations and convert currency. The search function has also received an API that allows app developers can make the content of the app compatible with Spotlight – thus you will also be able to get search results from Netflix in the same Spotlight search.
In addition to having you as before pick up search by swiping down from any home screen, Apple has created a special search page to the left of the main display screen.
This also shows some other information, recently and frequently used contacts, suggestions for apps based on your usage patterns, tips for dining and shopping venues nearby and local news as trends right now.
# 10) Drawing notes
NOT JUST FOR TEXT: Apple memo app gets signs opportunities.
Apple notatapp has gained a solid overhaul in iOS 9. The user interface is the same as before, but it has received multiple text formatting capabilities and avkryssbare memos.
Images can be added directly from a note, and it should also be possible to enter URLs and map that becomes a pretty small thumbnail view.
Finally, there came a new drawing tools which allows you to add sketches to your notes, much like Microsoft’s OneNote. You have a handful of drawing tools to take advantage of, including a ruler to get perfectly straight lines.
Plus slightly to
NEW APP-SWITCHES: But you still draws app up of the screen to end it.
There are also many other news, smaller or larger as applicable, in iOS 9.
Appearance wise it’s not happened as much again. Apple has replaced systemfonten with another called San Francisco. It is the same font we find new OS X El Capitan and Apple Watch, and the company says it should be easy to read.
App switcher you get up by double-tapping the home button has been redesigned, and instead of open apps side by side, they are now over one another, and you must scroll to the right instead of left. A bit like the Android, only that they go sideways.
In Notification Center alerts sorted finally by time and date, so you get the final listed in chronological order with the most recent alert at the top. Until now they have been grouped by apps, something that not everyone seems have been equally straightforward.
Want to find a setting instantly? In iOS 9 can apply in settings; just drag your finger down the settings to bring up the search box.
If you click on an alert or a link to an app and it opens a new app, you can easily go back to the previous app with a new back button (currently called “Go Back”).
HOW WAS THE SETTING AGAIN? The new search function will not have to dig through menus.
For other app-related news we can mention that Passbook app has been renamed Wallet and iCloud Drive now has its own app, so you can actually see the files you have stored in Apple’s cloud service.
With regard to safety improvements, Apple is introducing six-digit lock code and built-in support for two-step authentication for secure logins.
are certainly many other things we have not mentioned.
When you can get iOS 9?
As usual, Apple has released a closed beta version of the new operating system, but it is only for registered developers.
Earlier, the rest of us had to wait until the fall to be able to download the final version, but for the first time, Apple to release an open beta version in advance, specifically July.
