The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has made it out to several countries around the globe, however the predecessor is still a popular choice for many. Now owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 are finding out that it could be some time before they get their hands on the update to Jelly Bean 4.3.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 have Jelly Bean 4.1 and they have had it for a long time now. They missed out on the update to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and were hoping that 4.3 would arrive instead next month.
So you would think that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would get the update around the same time. However SamMobile said that the company have only just started testing their new OS on the phablet.
So if things go to plan the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 could get updated to the latest OS in October sometime, however if issues arise it could be some time.
This comes as a time when it is thought that Google will release KitKat 4.4 next month, which means there will be yet another update that owners have to wait for.
We have seen the latest software on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S3, so fingers crossed that owners of the Samsung Galaxy S2 won't have to wait much longer to see Android Jelly Bean 4.3 arrive on their handsets.
