These military bases may disappear – NRK

Internal memos and classified documents that NRK has gained access to show that a number of bases and military camps are in play when the Chief of Defence shall submit its professional military advice for the government to fall.

The documents including a called conceptual device based on reviews from the core group and guidance from the Chief of Defence itself – draws a whole new base maps in Norway.

1. Navy will move Coastguard Management Bergen

2. Air Force will operate fewer airbases

Orland Trondelag being previously adopted headquarters for the new F35 fighter planes, while Evenes built up as a forward base in northern Norway.

Bardufoss and Andøya Air Station is proposed down.

Orion aircraft recommended phased out.
