Sent Telenor report in return – Asker and Bærum Budstikke

In Monday’s meeting was the municipal audit report on Telenor Arena on control committee table. Auditor should examine whether “administration matters relating to the establishment of Telenor Arena was properly investigated and the political decisions were followed up in line with the resolution wording, expectations and guidelines.”

The report concludes that politicians intentions not to the extent necessary were included in zoning and that “clearer guidelines in line with the elected representatives intentions could have been given.” Beyond this reveals not report any unacceptable circumstances but suggest alderman in the future provide to ensure that “political intentions enshrined in regulation plans.”

The reason for audit report is an order from the control in January. Ever since Stabæk pulled his football out of the arena in 2011, there has been disagreement between Bærum and arena owner Euforum about the operation of the arena. Many politicians have stated that they have not got what they originally regulated to, namely a sports arena which could also be used for other things.

Liberal Ole Andreas Lilloe Olsen advocated for a full review of everything that has happened in the case, which also planning committee leader Ole Kristian Udnes and Mayor Lisbeth Hammer Krog supported.

Meanwhile adopted planning committee on 15 January that Euforums way to drive arena today is not in conflict with regulatory provisions.
