Progress Party leader Siv Jensen must be able to answer whether she knew that the party’s parliamentary group would put more money in social insurance settlement than the party’s own minister suggested, require opposition.
In an internal FRP note comes, according to Aftenposten revealed that Party strategy in social security settlement were to offer more, even though they knew they would not get resolved, then blame the other parties for the outcome of the settlement.
Party leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum called in Parliament’s oral question time Wednesday this a planned double play.
– My question to the Minister of Finance is whether she was aware of FRP in Parliament had cleared with FRP in government that would put more money in social insurance settlement here in Parliament than the Progress Party minister and the government suggested? said Vedum.
Aps Truls Wickholm asked the same question.
Siv Jensen noted that the FRP in Parliament has initiated a review to prevent pensioners’ purchasing power weakened by moderate wage settlements. She would not say whether she knew of the strategy as presented in FRP note.
– The representative Vedum ask me reference from internal discussions in Progress parliamentary group. That I do not intend to begin with, she said.
