Users of the international version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) can now update their devices to the new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (XXDME1) as Samsung has rolled out the firmware update for the arm on Thursday.
The latest Jelly Bean update can be installed in the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) overusing Samsung Kies or through the over-the-air (OTA) updates. The users of those handset’s running on a custom ROM can get it done with the help of a manual installation procedure.

How To Root
Step 1: Download CF-Auto-Root file for XXDME1 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware.
Step 2: Download Odin v3.07 and extract the file.
Step 3: Switch off your phone and enter Download Mode by pressing the Volume Down + Home + Power button together. After you see a warning screen, press Power button to Confirm two enter Download Mode.
Step 4: Run Odin as Administrator and connect the Galaxy Note 2 to the computer via USB cable while in the Download Mode.
Step 5: If the phone is connected properly, you will see “Added” message in Odin. You will also see ID: COM port with a number in Yellow.
Step 6: Now click the PDA button in Odin and select the file “F-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar.md5.”
Step 7: In Odin, check the “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time “options.
Step 8: Click on the Start button in Odin two begin flashing process.
Step 9: After the flashing is complete, you will see a PASS message with a green background in the left-most box at the top of the Odin.
Step 10: The phone will now restart automatically check. Once you see the home screen, you can unplug the phone from the computer.
Your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) should now be rooted successfully on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware (XXDME1) official firmware.
