Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2 models, making its way to U.S. and UK users one carrier at a time.

While Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date is stealing the buzz, some mobile users are still waiting for their handsets to get the update to its predecessor, 4.3 Jelly Bean.

So far, Android 4.3 was made available for Verizon and Sprint Galaxy S4 users in the U.S., with AT&T scheduled for a Nov. 13 release and T-Mobile Nov. 18 release, according to a leaked schedule.
Samsung Galaxy S4 owners in the UK can also now get their update, which also supports Samsung’s newly released Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The Jelly Bean update also includes features like a refreshed user interface, TRIM support, Open GL 3.0, new Samsung Keyboard,Samsung Knox, updated GPU drivers, new Lockscreen among others.

Monday, the Galaxy S4 users in Ireland were also given access to Android 4.3 update.
As for Galaxy S3 models, which were released in 2012, the Android 4.3 update is scheduled all within November – Sprint on Nov. 6, AT&T on Nov. 13, Verizon on Nov. 22, and T-Mobile on Nov. 25 for its LTE models.
The Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S3 also includes new Samsung apps like calculator, contacts, gallery and music apps, according to NDTV Gadgets.
To see whether the update hit your device, go to Settings -> More -> About Device -> Software Update -> Update.
Next in line for the Android 4.3 update is Galaxy Note II, which is scheduled for late November to early December for U.S. carriers. The leaked schedule shows AT&T and Sprint for Nov. 20 launch, Verizon for Nov. 29, and T-Mobile for Dec. 2.
While many Samsung device users continue to get their Jelly Bean update, the next-gen Android 4.4 Kit Kat has already been released, now only available on the fresh new Nexus 5 device. It may take months before the other major Android devices get the Kit Kat treat.
