Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat Android 4.4.2 update rolling out now - Mobot.net (blog)

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat Android 4.4.2 update rolling out nowLately we've been focusing on the smaller, lower-end Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo (as yet unannounced but almost certainly launching next month); it's time to turn our collective attention back to the big guy.

Good news if you happen to own Sammo's flagship phablet, as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat Android 4.4.2 update has started making its way to peeps in Europe.

According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat Android 4.4.2 update has popped up in Poland, for starters.

More specifically, it's the quad-core Snapdragon (as opposed to Exynos) version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that's seeing KitKat Android 4.4.2.

The stock answer from Samsung on David Cameron's shores goes a little something like this: “Samsung UK will announce rollout plans for Android 4.4 in due course."

We could be talking days, weeks or even months, as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat Android 4.4.2 update will require network approval and what have you. It should arrive a little sooner for those with unlocked handsets. In theory.

In addition to the usual KitKat Android 4.4 features and generally enhanced performance, Samsung has reportedly thrown in white status bar icons and faster unlocking, while the lock screen plays host to a new camera shortcut and full screen album art.

Needless to say, hit us up if there's any sign of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat Android 4.4.2 update o'er here.
