Unlock Your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 & S4 In 5 Easy Steps - SidhTech

If you are the proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 you are able to get your handset unlocked in just five easy to follow steps.

Should you have the device with a specific carrier and it is locked to that carrier then you can't use it with any other. But if you follow the steps and unlock it you can then use the handset with whoever you want and even send the device to a relative or friend who lives overseas. So to go ahead and unlock your device, just check out the steps below.

Get another SIM card that doesn't belong to your carrier and insert it into the device and turn it off, then turn it back on again.

You should now go into the dial pad and you can then type in *#197328640#. Go to Main Menu > [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3]Perso SHA256 OFF > then wait for 30 seconds or so. Then hit Menus and choose Back. You should now see Network Lock. Then choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ.

So you should have entered Asterisk Pound One Nine Seven Three Two Eight Six Four Zero Pound. However some people call the asterisk the star button and the pound button is sometimes called hash.

You handset will now be unlocked and you should be able to use it on any carrier. You can also try the code with different devices of Samsung.
