 - To lay down the entire office in Folldal just to save a million dollars. It is just not possible, says an irritated county executive Aasa Guest Vang.

 Trivial

The director of pre-hospital services; Geir Kristoffersen, behind the note. He believes part that cuts in Folldal is a good option because it will not affect patients.

The two politicians believe he ignores the great value office has Folldal. For Inland Hospital with their budgets constitute any savings by laying down the office a drop in the ocean, while for Folldal are five important jobs.

– It is drastically Folldal. For Folldal there is a fairly substantial work, says Mayor Egil Eide.

Guest Vang and Eide come up to the board meeting in SI to work to make it clear to the Board that this is a suggestion they should remain too good to go on with. Both have a certain hope that the board look at a little more than the purely economic.

– We can only hope, says Eide.

 Move either Moelv office

The whole hospital structure is towards centralization. Guest Vang see that it is inevitable and sometimes necessary.

But the argument to close down the office in Folldal is purely economic and has nothing to do with gathering skills or improve the situation for patients. The service can also be performed equally well in Folldal as anything else.

– Then we must ensure that the tasks are left out in the rural areas, she said.

– So then we get either move the office in Moelv to Folldal, she adds.

She also thinks it’s bad timing to suggest such a thing while the hospital is in the middle of a large investigation process where the studied indentations and changes.

– I think it’s terribly unwise in this study phase, she said.

Eide points out that the CEO of SI, Morten Lang-Ree, has just gone out and said that the hospital should not centralize where work can done equally well decentralized.

– This is it at least possible to decentralize, he said.

He also adds that in Gulhuset where patient travel accessories offices Hedmark road traffic office is built up considerable expertise in the type of service over many years. He believes it would be foolish to waste the skills.
