Ministry refuses to pay extra for the Great Hall – newspaper Nordland

Ministry of Culture splices happy to NOSO rent in The Tempest, but purses are not the extra large room.

Multi Consult has estimated that annual FDVU costs (operation, maintenance and development) for the entire storm will reach 27.5 million in cash.

North Norwegian Opera and Symphony Orchestra (NOSO) and Bodø municipality is now negotiating a lease for part of the orchestra in the storm; proposal is 5,150,000 a year in rent, plus 2.46 million that the municipality believes NOSO must pay.

After a calculation of how much of the concert hall NOSO to use, based on Multiconsult calculations of Culture Ministry in a note to the municipality that they can accept an annual rent of up to 5,150,000 million for NOSO.

Ministry accepts however that 2,460,000 million taken out of the calculations for the main hall and charged NOSO alone with reference to specific adaptations for NOSO.

Misunderstanding

According to CFO Stephan Other Skjelvan in Bodø municipality comes Culture Ministry’s refusal to splice the arrangements in the saddle as surprised.

– We will be meeting at the ministry in the next week to clarify what we perceive as a mistake, he says to newspaper Nordland.

He believes the note where the Ministry disclaims responsibility for the splicing of the 2.46 million pounds, is characterized by a number of factual errors.

– Error that it will be necessary to get explained and elaborated through conversations and discussions, says Skjelvan.
