Samsung is one of those smartphone manufacturers who has been trying to ensure that each of the company's high-end smart devices running on Android get upgraded to the latest version, so that consumers can have the best user experience. And as far as the Android updates are concerned, Samsung recently rolled out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note N7000, and the Galaxy Note 2 N7100 is already running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
And in recent times, there have been reports that said that Samsung had already planned a 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which was expected to be rolled out by the month of June. But now it seems that the roll out will be delayed since there is a lot more work to be done then it was earlier imagined. And even though th ere has been no official announcement for a 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the original Galaxy Note, we believe that the company is definitely considering the same.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100
Samsung has already been working on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The company has plans to add the latest version of Samsung TouchWiz UI in the update, and this seems to be the reason for the delay. So Galaxy Note 2 consumers will need to wait for some more months as the update is expected to arrive by Q3 this year.
Samsung Galaxy Note N7000
We would really be happy to see Samsung roll out the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the original Samsung Galaxy Note. Even though there has been no official confirmation, Samsung will definitely be considering this device to be eligible for the update. Another important point that Samsung will have to consider is that the Galaxy Note N7000 has a large user base, and a 4.2 update roll out will be the best way to keep them happy. And if the company does plan to roll out the 4.2 update, it will happen late in Q3 or may be in Q4.
