Is The Samsung Galaxy S3 & Note Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update Here Yet? - SidhTech

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 owners are going to be delighted to know that their long wait for the Jelly Bean 4.2 update is nearly over.

Sources have told us that the Jelly Bean 4.2 update is going to be out any day now. We have asked Samsung to confirm this.

So, SamMobile tweeted a few weeks ago about this update, but as yet no dates have been set in stone.

SamMobile also tweeted that the update would start in early June or so, so things are looking up. It's June now, so hopefully, Galaxy S3 and Note 2 owners are getting pinged as we write!

It's also thought that the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2 will be getting Key Lime Pie later in the year. However, we don't think that this will actually happen, and that Jelly Bean 4.2 will be the last update for these particular handsets. It's more likely that just the Galaxy S4 and newer phones like this one will get Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
